Home for the Holidays

For some reason my mother and I are getting on each other's nerves more than usual this year. Maybe it's because I was going to bring my boyfriend back for Thanksgiving (even though that didn't pan out) and she's on edge about my relationship... or maybe I'm irked because I'm the uncle that gets to sleep on the couch while my brother and his wife get a bedroom and my niece and nephew get the other one. (If I bring Steve, maybe that would qualify us.) Don't mean to gripe but I'm going on few hours sleep over the past couple of days and a stiff back. I'm also practically daring someone to bring up California's Prop 8. I just need to relax a little I think. SO.... Just to get us all in the Christmas mood...
