Sid Jones was never fond of irony and he was always trying to get the best of it. He even named his firstborn "Cancer Jones" because he felt that by doing so, he could reduce the chances of the child succumbing to the disease. To drive home his point, his other children were named "Heart Attack Jones" and "Car Crash Jones", respectively.
But irony doesn't like to be tempted and when given the chance will strike back cruelly. This was proven to Sid when his dog died of cancer, Cancer was struck down by a heart attack, Heart Attack met his end in a violent car crash, and Car Crash got worms.
Sid himself fell victim to irony's vindictive hand when he dropped dead in a bookstore after the tome "Five Thousand and One Baby Names" fell from the upper shelves and struck him square on the head.
Hehe. That's a good one.
Because it IS a joke, right?
Right?
